Kindergarten: Matching and Sorting

Sort the socks!

Matching and sorting are important skills for children to develop because they help kids categorize information and pay attention to detail. The next time you fold a load of laundry, have your child match clean socks by identifying the patterns or colors on the socks. Other times, challenge them to sort out their clothes from all of the other clothes. It’ll build their capacity to reason and make laundry go a little faster!
