Sorting and Matching

Play a sorting game!

Collect 10 objects of solid colors such as building blocks, magnetic tiles, or stuffed animals, and have your child sort them by color. If the items are different sizes, you can also challenge your child to sort the objects by size. Sorting is an important pre-math skill that prepares preschoolers for more complex math by teaching them about patterns and relationships.
